Getting updates from the Accelrys Forums

There are two ways to find out what new posts have been made into your favourite forums without logging in and searching.

RSS Feeds

RSS feeds are available for the Accord, Discovery Studio, Materials Studio and Pipeline Pilot categories in the Accelrys Forums. You can subscribe to an RSS feed for any of the listed categories by going to the main category index and selecting Tools | RSS Feeds and selecting one of the feeds.

If you have an appropriate web browser, such as Firefox, you can subscribe to feeds when you are logged into the forums by clicking on the feeds icon in the address bar. Please consult the documentation for your specific browser if you are unfamiliar with using feeds.

Note that RSS feeds will not include information from restricted access forums such as the Nanotechnology Consortium forum.

Email Digests

Email notifications are available when new posts are added to your favorite Accelrys Forum topic. You can request these to be sent immediately, daily, or weekly, and whether to include replies or not.

To enable email notifications, open the forum you are interested in, such as 'Pipeline Pilot - General Discussion', select the Notify tab just above the topic listing, and choose your preferred delivery option in the newly opened Notify Tool dialog, then click the Update My Notification button.

Notification preferences can be modified via the Notify tool and by modifying your personal preferences (click Go | Member Zone | Preferences | Notifications).
